Pawty Pups Carob Brownies

If you were are our Pawty this weekend you or your pup may have tried our Carob Brownies. They are dog safe and very easy to make!

 

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cups Whole-Wheat Flour

1/2 Cup Tapioca Flour

1/4 Cup Carob Powder

2 Tablespoons Applesauce

1 Tablespoon Molasses or Brown Rice Syrup

1 Cup Water

Directions

Preheat own to 350*F

Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl

Add applesauce, molasses, and water

Use a spoon to mix into a batter

Pout batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan

Use the back of a spoon to spread evenly to the edges

Bake for 20 minutes or until top is firm

Optional Frosting

We used a few different frostings for the different colors

Plain Greek Yorgurt was the base of all of them

In the whiter color we did 1 cup yogurt, 2 teaspoons milk, 1 cup tapioca flour

To add color like tan; mix in some peanut butter, if you desire pink; use a little bit of beet juice, for the brown we added in carob powder… we just try to keep everything healthy and natural

For decoration we use carob chips
