Hello Everyone! I figured after two years of being all over our Facebook page I should finally introduce myself. So here it goes…My name is Travers and I was aptly named after the Travers Stakes race that first ran in Saratoga Springs 1864. This race was named after Mr. William Travers who along with John Morrissey founded the Saratoga Race Course in 1863 and served as its first president.
I came to Impressions in 2011 to help children and adults enjoy all Saratoga has to offer. I travel around each Tuesday to unique locations in Saratoga and post my picture on Facebook. It is then your job to guess where I am. I love exploring new places and learning the history of Saratoga as well as the history of each shop and building. For instance, did you know that before Impressions was a retail store, the space was a bar, a bank, and an insurance agency?
Sometimes I travel with my cousin, Morrissey. He was named after John Morrissey who was also one of the founders of the Saratoga Race Course.
